Today a friend asked me what I was going to do with all the challenge squares,, I told her that it will be turned into a laprobe for a local nursing home :) This hexagon?? maybe I'll need to make lots more,,lol

Here is my pattern;
(yes one from me this time,,lol, only cause I've used it alot and have NO CLUE where it came from I think my Grams taught it to me forever ago.
I used a H hook, but you can use what ever hook you like to give you the size you need
Row 1: Ch 3, 11 DC in ring, join with a sl/st in top of ch 3. Finish off ( 12 dc)
Row 2: changing color, Ch 3, DC in same sp as Ch 3, ch1, (2 dc, ch1) in each. join in top of beg ch3. Finish off. (24)
Row 3: (attach color in ch 1 sp) Ch3, 2dc in same ch1 space, *ch1, 3dc in next ch1 s* (repeat ) till end, join in top of ch3 space. Finish off.
Row 4: (attach color in ch1 sp) Sc in ch 1sp, *ch 3, sc in next ch1 sp* (repeat till end) joining to top of sc. (do not finish off)
Row 5: continuing with same color, sl st into ch3 space, Ch3, 2dc in same space, ch 2, 3dc in same space, (corner made= 3dc, ch2, 3dc), ch 1, 3 dc in next ch 1 sp, ch1, *work corner in next ch3 sp, ch 1, 3dc in next ch3 sp* repeat from * to * Join with a sl st in top of ch 3, finish off and your done :)
