I'll admit I almost changed this square before it even got started! I couldn't figure out what on earth they were talking about on how to change the colors when in fact it wasn't "changing the colors" it was "working" the colors,,lol ok have I lost ya yet?? In this square you will work 4 different sides, one color each, still lost??? yeah I feel ya,, I was too. Then I REREAD the pattern slowly (maybe I was tired?? LOL) and it says to REMOVE HOOK!!! DUH! here is what it will look like (this was after the 2nd rnd)
You will remove the hook at the end of each rnd of that color, pick up the next color and begin that row again working on the top of the previous row(color). So basically each rnd is worked 4 times one set per color. I guess I couldn't wrap my brain around dropping that stitch/color to go to the next..lol I just wanted to keep on crocheting. Round 5 (or on whichever round you end) should be...
** She made a correction to Rnd 5** Its below the pattern, but just in case,, here it is
Continuing with color A, * {ch1, in ch2 sp (3dc, ch1, 3dc), sk 2dc, ch1, .....2dc in ch1 sp, sk 2dc, ch1, hdc & sc in ch1 sp, sk 2dc, ch1, sc & slst in ch1 sp. repeat from * with colors B, C, & D.
Have FUN with this one!!!!
